Get involved!
We are looking for a small but dedicated team to support us through the months of training prior to the event and then through every gruelling mile run and cycled. We are also looking for friends, family and perfect strangers to get behind our challenge to help us raise awareness, whilst fundraising, for our chosen charities. Any support, in whatever form, would be greatly appreciated.
Support Team requirements:
This is going to be an epic challenge and we can not complete it on our own. We need help over the period of the challenge and in the build up. To that end we are looking for a small but dedicated team to help raise awareness, fundraise and support us. We have identified the following areas that we will need help with:

To that end we are looking for a small but dedicated team to help raise awareness, fundraise and support us. We have identified the following areas that we will need help with:
Drivers - we aim to take 2/3 support vehicles to transport the team and provide rest areas, workshops and feeding stations for all involved.
Navigators - for support vehicles and for us whilst on the bikes and in the hills. Spanner Monkeys - break downs are going to happen or at least a puncture and we need support in keeping the bikes spinning in order to complete the challenge. Food Prep - We will all need feeding both challengers and supporters and so food will need preparing, water bottles filling and people to feed the both of us. |
First Aid - Hopefully not necessary! We will probably suffer from a little chafeage and need plasters changing, muscles rubbing and help to keep going.
Communications - We need to keep the team in touch with each other but also people to help manage and update social media and broadcast our progress during the build up and the event. Hill support - For those that fancy the opportunity to climb any of the peaks we will need support in the hills to help monitor our progress, guide us and be close at hand should we have any issues whilst in the hills. |
If you'd like to be part of the Purer 3 Peaks team, please email us at [email protected]. We are planning a number of training dates/weekends which we'll post on Facebook - please follow us to stay up to date with our latest news!
If you would like to support us but do not have the time to get directly involved as part of the team, we are also looking for ways to maximise our fundraising efforts by reducing our costs. As such, any support or sponsorship in the following areas would really help.
Sponsorship
Transport/Fuel
Clothing
Spares/Repairs
Food/nutrition

Fundraising - of course!
We are looking to raise money on behalf of two very special charities; Macmillan Cancer Support and Combat Stress. Each charity has a very personal connection to us both. Of course, any donations would help motivate us along every one of the 525 gruelling miles, and raise cash for some worthwhile causes - we aim to raise £5000 for each charity! In addition, if you can also help spread the word to your friends, families and contacts, that would really help! Read more about charities here, and/or use the buttons below to donate!
